Walking...walking...walking

So, today I had to return some stuff to the library. I ride down there and do my thing, come back out and start riding back towards 17-92. I look down and see that my front wheel is wobbling. Some how from the 5 minute span of me returning my library items a big section of my front wheel was bent. I don't know how it happened, but I was pissed because I only have only had the bike for 4 days so far.

I ride very carefully to goodwill and pick up a $1 charger for my old phone since my new one just broke. I head over to tyler's to see if he could do anything with my wheel. But the wheel was to damaged to tweak on our own, so then I was off to Jc's.

Took the votran to deland, and arrived at JC's bike shop. He said he needed to fix the spokes and realign the wheel, and that would take about 3 hours. Since I didn't have my bike I couldn't go far, so I went to steve's and hung out for about 30 minutes. I didn't have enough money to get my tire fixed and buy a cd so I left. I headed to the comic book store to see if they had any good selections. But it was closed, at 1 o'clock. WHY!?

Walked back to JC's but it wasn't done yet, so I walked to taco bell. Got some food and waited until 2:30 to walk back. The bike was finally done, and it was only $13. Caught the votran back to orange city and rode home.

Success!

I finished my messenger bag today thanks to tyler and my mom for sewing assistance. It cost absolutely nothing! Be jealous.

On another note, I should be getting my fixed gear in a few more days. No more shitty girl's bike for me!

Faith No More

Haven't posted in a while. Not really anything to talk about.

I got some siq new music incuding but not limited to: Faith No More, Isis, Pelican, Cruel Hand, Agent Orange. I finished my plastic bag messenger bag. it came out way too wide, and not tall enough. I basically know how to put one together with ease now. Next step is too cut and sew my vinyl sign into one. This one should turn out better.

On another note, I printed my zine out on wednesday! It looks awesome, and I shipped out 15 orders yesterday, and got 5 more this morning from England and Canada! Since I know how to actually put together my own magazine now, the next issue will be MUCH better put together. Although the comic book background rules pretty hard.

My new favorite movie is Midnight Cowboy. I suggest you check it out. Dustin Hoffman made me want to become a bum in new york.

Have Heart show comming up! No Harm Done leaves for a month and a half long tour in november. Time for some more dumpster food, and possible free tattoos!

Busy! Busy! Busy!

Lately, I, Thomas Bahama Cantwell, have been extremely busy. I have been working on the finishing touches of my zine. I have been constructing a messenger bag for bike related traveling supplies. And have also been stocking up on my movie collection, thanks to Goodwill and their amazing selection of classic VHS tapes.

To start off, my zine is almost done! I only need one single piece of artwork from mastermind Perry, and it will be off to the local office depot for printing.
I'm only selling it for $1, and $2 if you want it shipped to you, so don't be a george costanza and buy one please.

Second. I have been constructing a messenger bag. I have been waking up every morning for the past 4 days at 7am, and iron plastic bags all day. I am using plastic bags as a trial run. If it works out, I am going to use this siqq vinyl sign I "found" in the K-Mart plaza. This is a very fun project. It opens up your inner Martha Stewart.

Last but not beastly, my movie collection has been considerably growing the past few weeks. This picture only displays half of the incredible movies I have obtained from Goodwill and/or Hospice aka "Dead People Store"
